Wedding Cakes
As styling is everything when it comes to a wedding, I am happy to create something that will compliment your theme - whether it be traditional, modern, vintage, rustic, not to mention what’s trending at the time.
And if you don’t know where to start, not a problem! After getting to know what you like and most importantly, what you don’t like, I am happy to guide you in the right direction.
Priscilla’s Cakes has been honored to have supplied for many local businesses and schools, as well as the larger corporations such as, FOXTEL & Medilaw Group.
Congratulations to the lovely couple, who went with my new pistachio cream filling. And thank you so much for sending these images through the very next day 🤍
I’ve always said, the cake needs to suit not only your styling for the day, but it also needs to compliment your venue. And these professional photos just proves it.
I’m a little late in posting, but Happy 2nd Birthday to Matteo 🥳🚗

Feedback: ‘It was everything I envisioned and more 😍’
Thank you Olivia for your continued trust in me. From your bridal shower, wedding cake and your first born’s baptism cake. Your support is truly appreciated 🥰
This is a very sad situation to a wedding cake business in Adelaide. The costs of general ingredients and utilities has sky rocketed Can anyone make a cake? Yes. Can anyone make a wedding cake that’s up to standard to put on display? No. It takes hours or expertise that is accrued over years of training. Our profession is a niche, just like most trades. With all this said, unfortunately we need to charge accordingly or this will happen. The business will need to close. Running a viable business is the first thing we were taught in business school. And I love my job too much for that to happen That’s why I don’t employ staff, and yes at times I need too, but the years of training you need for this gig, not everyone wants to work on a ‘needs basis’ That’s why at times I’m behind in emails and lack in sleep - because I’m making sure my orders booked for the weekend are completed. As I recently discovered, lack of sleep can impact on your health, which in my case it did. But thankfully I’m now past that and taking better care. And still all my orders were completed. In the 10 years of running this business I’ve NEVER cancelled an order. And fingers crossed i never have too. So please have a little patience with us, because our worst nightmare is this scenario - not having a cake for you.
Also, as a small business, when we can, we will go that extra mile with your order. You might not realise it but we put those extra flowers you didn’t budget for, go slightly taller in size something you might not realise - because to us it looks better that way. Remember we want to make something remarkable for you, that we can also showcase in our portfolio. So it’s a win/win situation. It’s these little things that stands us apart from the large franchises.
I really feel for this business as you don’t just fall into it. You pursue it because you have a passion for what you do. And I feel for the couples that now don’t have a wedding cake. Hoping everyone caught up in this all the best as they navigate through what’s next.
Cake made a few weeks ago to help celebrate a special baby girl’s Christening. The theme was wild flowers with the cake design made to complement the invitation. #priscillascakes #customcakes #cakes #cakedesigner #customdesign #melbourne
What an experience this has been. Never in my wildest dreams I thought I’d be running my own business, but here I am. I’ve learnt a lot. And no doubt I will continue to learn.
Like most cake designers, we start off with birthday cakes. After fine tuning my skill, I realised that I enjoyed creating wedding and other bespoke cakes, so my focus took on a different direction. And my business plan changed. I started to attend many wedding expos, and had my work featured in a few bridal magazines.
However the unimaginable happened: a pandemic hit. Just as I was starting to get the work I wanted. Many businesses were going under, and not wanting to be a statistic, the ISO cupcake boards were born. I also used the time to get a new webpage up and running and introduced my new logo.
I feel like I cheated a little reaching this milestone, as the pandemic felt like it cut a chunk out of running a normal business, but I guess playing catch up on all those postponed weddings, made up for it.
Looking back a my earlier work, I realised a few things: * I’ve been making sugar bows since 2014 * May 2019 is when I first made my signature white large flower wedding cake, and 5 years later it’s still popular * I took some very average looking photos and made some very average looking cakes * Novelty cakes are not my thing, those unicorns - oh dear 🤣 * My expresso martini cupcakes came to mind after having my first ever expresso martini 🍸 * I’ve made a lot of cakes!!! 🎂🎂🎂
To those of you that have placed an order through this little business, no matter how big or small that order was, THANK YOU, as it was your support that has helped Priscilla’s Cakes reach this milestone.
And for those that, follow me on my socials, your likes and comments do not go unnoticed. I see them all. When things aren’t going to plan or I feel overwhelmed, your interaction is what helps keep me going.
THANK YOU to the International Wedding Awards ❤️. To all my upcoming couples and venues that have me as a preferred supplier, and anyone who has recommended Priscilla’s Cakes, I hope to continue to do you all proud 🤍
This has been one of my more popular designs leaving the kitchen. The couple had arranged for this cake to be transported to Daylesford for their wedding. Wishing them both a lifetime of happiness 🥂
What a night! And showcase was literally the best way to decribe last night’s event. From ballerinas, violinist, pianist, stylists, an MC and pyrotechnics plus much more, meant the night was just going to be amazing, and it was! Finally got to meet the owners to this very chic venue, as well as many other wonderful vendors, and last but not least meet so many lovely couples! Both suppliers and guests were all so accomodating and gracious with their time. I’ve bombarded you with my stories showcasing much of what I’ve mentioned, so here’s a little bit of what I had on display .
D’licious Magazine is UK based, and launched in January 2022. In the few years they’ve been around they’ve achieved so much, including becoming the media partner for Cake International and creative partners with Squires Kitchen. So when not one but two of my creations get featured in this prestigious publication, I am truly honoured. So thank you 💜
